Courtyards!

He leaned back and arched his eyebrow skeptically. "That's doesnt seem fair. A girl like you doesn't deserve to live in a world of shadows," he said without thinking.

"And what kind of girl am I?" She asked him, raising an eyebrow of her own.

Sebs face turned bright red and he looked away. He stumbled over his words as he tried to salvage his pride.. "I mean -- well that's --you're -- dammit, Kaalee, you're one of the most impressive girls I've met."

Kaalee's cheeks turned a little pink as she kissed him on the cheek.
"I think you're pretty impressive too." She said, leaning back and biting her lip.

Scoffing, he shook his head. "There's nothing impressive about me, trust me."

"You didn't run from me…much. That's pretty impressive." She said.

He laughed harshly. "I remember running like miles from you. Don't put me on a false pedastal."

"You came back. And you dream. You aspire to be someone. I can't do that. I know who I am going to be and I am content with that. A lot of people are. But you...you want the very best and you deserve it. That...that is the most impressive trait anyone could have." She said to him.

Seb's face flushed. "I'm unrealistic. My dreams are just that: dreams. Ill never see them come to be, but being the ridiculous little hufflepuff I am, I can't help but imagine that for once the universe will be kind to a broken little boy, and allow him to have his dream. Logically I know that I'll never be a quidditch player, but I'm not rational, which is why I'm not a ravenclaw. Personally, I think you're more impressive because you know your destiny and you're not foolish enough to try and change it like I am. You're willing to work with it

"What's the fun in that? Who gives a bloody hell about logic? You want to be a Quiddich player? Then be a Quiddich player. But don't you ever give up on your dreams! Repeat after me, I will never give up on my dreams." She said, giving him a look that mums give their kids when they want their kids to do something and the kids aren't cooperating.

He raised his eyebrows at her but complied anyway, repeating in a dry, sarcastic tone. "Better, mum?" He asked, rolling his eyes at her.

"Yes...my dreams were crushed when I was little. I don't want anyone else to feel that way." Kaalee bit her lip, explaining herself a bit.

He put his arm around her shoulder in a one-armed hug, drawing her in for a second. "I'm sorry to hear that. Can I beat the twat that did that?"

"Well...it was my mother. And she happens to be insane...and a death eater. And Bellatrix Lestrange." Kaalee bit her lip as she admitted that.
"But we could move to a better, less depressing subject?" Kaalee asked him, looking up at him.

He whistled under his breath. "Well, dear, I would love to help you out, but I'm afraid she's out of my skill level. And sure. What do you want to talk about, then?"

"How are you liking Transfiguration so far?" She asked him, the first topic that came to her mind. Then she mentally facepalmed herself for that.

He laughed lightly, ruffling her hair before leaning back on the pillar again, propping an elbow up on his bent knee. "Transfiguration is great, as always. McGonagall loves me, no big deal. You?"

"Conguring and I aren't the best of friends." Kaalee sighed.

"What seems to be the problem? I wouldn't imagine you having a hard time focusing."

"I focus but then my metamorphasus abilities take over. My cousin Tonks has this problem too...all well...you win some you lost some right?" Kaaleelaughed.

"So you end up changing a part of yourself into what you're supposed to be transfiguring the object into? Can you even do that? I mean, I suppose you can because I saw you, but I thought you could only change your appearance into something organic, like a pig snout pr whatever. Huh."

"Oh sure...as long as it's not made out of plastic I'm fine. Plastic is man made so I can't do that but anything else is nature that is shaped by man." I shrugged.

"That's actually really cool!" He leaned forward, a teasing smile on his face. "So what do you really look like, miss black?"

"You really want to see?" She asked him, raising an eyebrow.

"Is your true appearance disturbing or something?"
